women getting rid of body hair

I am a sikh woman and do not cut my hair but for many years now i have been unhappy about my body hair but not that i have matured i realize that i want to get rid of it but i know sikhi does not allow that but i also do not believe that me getting rid of my body hair makes me any less of a person or that it would cause any strains on my belief to this religion please let me know what you guys think about me getting rid of my body hair.
