How does a stateless society work exactly?
Hello all,
I really appreciated the answers the last time, so I'm back again with another question for ye if ye don't mind.
Socialism seems to have multiple flavours, but the most popular variation on it all I see online is the idea of a borderless, stateless society.
Now that sounds great, but I'd be interested in hearing how the implementation of such a society would be done. Aren't there loads of things from pensions to regulation of broadcasting spectrum to air traffic control that need a big government? Having a home grown solution in every boreen seems like it'd be a nightmare to deal with.
Maybe I'm just too cynical, but I get the impression it would degrade into AnCapistan after a few years.
Am I completely out of sync with modern socialist movements by imagining the most realistic setup as being a less corrupt version of Soviet state capitalism, or is there some reading on the subject ye can suggest? :)
