Credit cards with roadside assistance perk

Auto

Hey PFC!

I recently bought my first vehicle and I'm shopping around for roadside assistance membership. I live in Edmonton, so having roadside assistance is useful during the cold, winter months and for road trips during the summer.

Any tips on credit cards with this perk, or other companies? With my initial research, I found that:

  • My BMO World Elite MC has an add-on option for enhanced coverage ($100/year)

  • TD premium cards include TD deluxe auto club with similar coverage (free with the card's $120/year annual fee). This option would allow me to get another credit card (my current back-up card is the Amazon Visa that will soon be discontinued).

  • CAA/AMA tends to be on the pricier side compared to the first two

  • Costco has one but I don't have membership with them

I wonder if anyone here has any opinions as regards the options I listed above or any other options that I should consider? More interested in reliability of the service and value for money.
