Please help me overcome my social anxiety and gain confidence.

Hey there, I'm glad to have found this group, and I look forward future group manifestations.

I've been an anxious person for most of my life but I've spent this year to improve myself. I am much better, but I still have some hurdles. I feel like I'm on the cusp of letting all of this go and I'm about to go into a new phase where I must take the lead in my life.

Here are my ongoing issues: I'm get nervous in social situations, deflated and get too afraid to speak for fear of making a poor impression.

I have a poor self-image of myself. I've been getting better at this, but there's still a deep part of myself that feels unworthy of anything good.

I always speak softly to the point that people can't understand me at times.

I've never had a good interview.

Poor posture from trying to make myself small to go unnoticed.

In work situations, I downplay my skills even though I have a lot of knowledge in different areas.

I always think about the worst case scenario of every situation.

I've had panic attacks in social situations.

There's a part of myself that can't allow myself to relax (That might be a cptsd thing).

I usually stayed holed up in my place and try to find excuses not to be social.

When in social gatherings I soak in all of the emotions in the room and I worry about others being happy.

Haha, sorry for the long whiny, self-defeatist list. I know I have it in me to overcome these issues. I've come a long way in a year from improving myself. I know that in the future I will be proud of myself, speak with confidence, walk tall, articulate exactly what I want to say and be seen as a person deserving of respect. I will love myself and do everything with conviction.

I thank you for any help you could send my way!
