Direct play is too much for multiple streams

Hey guys,

I have a pretty good plex server where my upload is the bottleneck. 33MB/s is quite a bit for a home network unless my users are using direct play!

I had to disable direct play because some shows will actually take up 30MB/s just 1 stream!

I'd much rather transcode and send the data at 8-10MB/s that way I can at least have 3 people watching at the same time without buffering.

What is the best bandwidth tool or configuration to have with plex, I entered the max upload and the auto adjust for bandwidth but I don't want to degrade the resolution too much.

Currently I disabled direct play so it forces transcoding and that seems to send at a reasonable bitrate.
