Monitor flickers on certain shades of gray
So I got this LG 34UM88C-P ultrawide monitor for my pc a bit ago, last july to be precise. Haven't gotten any issues with the exception of one burn-in accident where my computer didn't go to sleep with a bright color.
It stuck for a bit, I tried random flashing colors and such but then ended up just making sure thing weren't staying static over that spot and it ended up dissapearing. Went from 90ish brightness to 50ish in the monitor setting since then. Might be unrelated to current issue but I felt it worth mentioning.
Now for the current issue, after some time spent, I start noticing a flicker in areas with medium darkness, most noticeable with a 50-60% gray.
I first tested to see if it was coming from the computer by using another source, but the flickering was still visible.
Adjusting brightness doesn't stop the flickering, neither does the "Black Stabilizer" (that just seems to lighten up darker spots) or the "DFC" setting.
I've tried looking up the issue but haven't found any solution that applied, since it doesn't appear to be an issue with the connection to the PC.
Hopefully a solution is available because it can become straining on the eyes to see the flicker and buying another monitor would be quite costly at the moment..
Edit1 : After a bit of time with a 50% grey picture in full screen, the flickering appears to have stopped, around 5 minutes after I typed this as I looked up more solutions online on another monitor.
But It isn't the first time that this issue occurs and possible solutions to avoid it reoccuring would be still appreciated.
