Need Help about a girl !

So i know a girl that i really like that just broke up with her boyfriend, her ex is a friend of mine after they broke up another friend of mine send her a message that he loves her and so on, the girl send me screenshots and we started laughing about how disrespectful he is for waiting for her to break up to do a move. Now we met last weekend and we hang out a bit but I think that she may like me my problem is that if I ask her to hangout like this weekend wouldnt this indicate that I like her, I am afraid that she will react the same way as on my other friend, the girl is has had a really hard time breaking up and I am just afraid to ask her out this weekend what should I do ? Btw I strongly believe that she atleast likes me as a person
