[Question] iOS 10 or later requirements issues

I've been on 9.3.3 for quite some time with no issues so I have never upgraded. Now more and more apps are requiring iOS 10 or later to use. I can download older versions, but the app is locked saying it needs updated. Is there a way to bypass this and downloaded the update and test to see if it can work on 9.3.3 (I know some apps use the new framework to work) or am I going to have to upgrade my iOS and lose my jailbreak. I mainly use my jailbreak because of Apex and how it organizes my apps and I see it hasn't been updated to the newer versions so I don't want to lose that tweak.
