Why is the new Dota 2 Assistant locked away from new players?
The idea of having it locked behind Dota Plus really confuses me. Typically the people who will spend money on Dota are already more experienced in the game and know what they're doing. The new Assistant might help them a bit, but for the most part they know what they're doing. New players on the other hand most likely won't want to pay for this system unless they actually know they like the game first. In the meantime while they're trying to figure out how to actually play the game, a great system to help them get better is being held behind a pay wall. I just feel bad since I'm sure someone who is trying to learn how to play the game would get more use out of a system like this than me.
