I had a strange occurrence happen just now, have any of you experienced this as well?
It was a monotonous, boring day just like the majority have been recently and I was sitting in my study playing Dota 2 with no pants and suddenly a notification hit my screen. It mentioned something strange, bizarre and the likes of which I had never seen before. "Subscribe" read the green rectangle on my screen as I glanced up to see what for. This new Dota Plus service had appeared out of nowhere and before I knew it my wallet had flown off of my bed, across the hall and onto the screen where I could hear some sort of suction sound and then before I knew it I was subscribed to Dota Plus.
Wondering what this entailed, I started to queue and upon entering into a match I heard a little robotic voice say "auto pilot mode activated" as I watched my hero get selected for me before my eyes. What's even more disturbing is when I hit the button to enter the match, none of my hotkeys worked and I could here this weird laughter coming from the same robotic voice. It steered my hero towards the middle lane as Invoker and proceeded to land perfect sunstrikes with 100% accuracy despite the cries of "omg map hacker" and "pay2win noob" from the opposite team. I just could not tear my eyes away from the screen as this new service proceeded to farm with the highest GPM I had ever seen on Invoker and land every spell, every combo with precision and excellent timing. By the end of the game, it was me (or was it?) that had the highest GPM, the highest tower damage, and the highest hero damage as Dota Plus was playing my game for me so therefore I just had to sit back and watch as it made every decision and pressed every button for me.
I don't know what just happened, but I'm afraid that the game that we call Dota 2 might be dying as a result of this "Dota Plus".
