Monastery double standards

So I was in the monastery, completing the quest ‘needle in a haystack’ when I coincidentally completed another mission by finding who was stealing/drinking wine from the cellars.

Rather than get them in trouble, I decided I’d have a drink with the lads, they’ve hated me all game due to my lack of punctuality and I’ve spent about 2 days in the monastery ‘jail’ as my punishment so far so maybe this could turn my luck around I thought.

So I let it slide, and in my drunken stupor head back to sleep and get ready for the next day.

When I get lost on my way to my first job and arrive slightly late, nobody bats an eyelid and I’m feeling pretty chuffed. Yet when I start making a potion with my terrible alchemy skills, I’m interrupted by a black screen before the very same bloke from the night before tells me off for being late, and sentences me to over a full day in the jail!

Now I don’t know if he’s forgotten the events from the night before, but if I ever figure out who’s in charge around this monastery this fella is certainly going to be spending a day behind bars.... that’ll teach him to share wine with me
