No Time to Explain error

So my friend had no time to explain on his steam and he lent me his library so I could play it. Well I go and open the game and it goes to a screen that says unsupported video signal. I've tried to look up this issue but it seems no one has this problem. Can anyone help? I've also tried running it in 640x480 resolution and still nothing.
