Do I have any options?

So I recently got engaged to the love of my life. Our relationship like all others has had ups and downs, and during one particularly low "down" before we got engaged, I made the incredibly stupid mistake of contacting an ex girlfriend. We messaged via Whatsapp for a short period of time, until I came to my senses and realized that I was making a mistake. I told her that and we stopped communicating. Things were fine until my fiancee and I got engaged, and I saw that my ex had posted a screenshot of my Facebook announcement to Twitter with the caption "What a joke," and then proceeded to post screenshots of our private conversation in Whatsapp on her public Twitter page. The screenshots were selectively posted with the intent of being as damaging as possible to me and to present me as a desperate person trying to get back with her, and they all contain my name and picture. Needless to say, this was very emotionally distressing for me and my fiancee, and I am very lucky to be with someone who wants to forgive me for my mistakes.

My question is, do I have any legal options available to me? I have already tried contacting her privately and asking that she remove them like an adult, which did not work. I have also reported the messages to Twitter, and they responded that they did not violate the community guidelines, so they won't do anything about them. I just don't want the screenshots to remain there for the world to see and potentially damage my future job prospects or remind my partner of my mistakes. I know that I made a horrible mistake and that I have gotten myself into this mess, and I have spent plenty of time wishing I could change my actions. Perhaps you have experienced something similar to this or know of another way I might be able to go about having these screenshots removed and regaining my sanity.

I currently live in Virginia, and my ex girlfriend has moved and lives in Michigan now. Thank you for reading and helping me move forward with this!
