need help with a theme

Hey. I need some inspiration. I'm going for several years to a pottery class once a week. This time, the teacher decided that we have to work around a theme of our choosing and at the end of the lessons make a show piece. We can choose whether it is functional or decorative. But I have no idea what to choose. Anyone have any ideas? The previous course I learned to make a vase in two parts and that was quite had to do, but i could do it in the end.
