Was folding the right decision?

I look down at AKs (clubs), obviously I play this hand and I raise to 3BB. This was probably a mistake as 4 players fold and 2 call.

The flop is 679s (hearts) and the other 2 players both raise so it's likely at least one of them already has a flush. I decided to fold my ace king suited but it felt like I was making a mistake as this was the only monster hand I'd had in about 30 hands.

Would you have folded or continued playing if you got this hand and flop? Also if you would keep playing then why and would you just call or re-raise the re-raise?
