Description of problem

Last night I was playing EU4 when the screen started creating a lot of noise and flickering shapes all over the screen. I didn't think much of it and thought maybe it was a combination of EU4 mods I was using that was the issue. Eventually after a lot of testing the issue persisited and even got worse as the noise and the shapes got more prominent.I googled around and tried updating drivers and trying different applications and the only conclusion I was able to reach is that the issues is in hardware. To support that I can add that I usually use my laptop on a cooler pad, but for the past couple of days I was not and that's when the issue appeared.https://i.imgur.com/zR4kTpl.jpg
