Any idea when the lag is going to be fixed Epic?

The past few days the lag seems to be getting worse and worse. The game randomly freezes for 0/5 - 2 seconds, (often just as I am getting into combat - and I usually do not even drop into the busiest areas either).

I have read a few posts on this topic, and this lag seems to be affecting both console and pc. I am on PS4 myself, checked my connection and matchmaking region, both of which are fine so I am assuming it is server side?

Is there any upcoming fix for this round the corner Epic?
