[ASK] In Box Collectors or Out of Box Collectors?

Hello,

I'm conducting a research about collectibles whether people keep the stuff they collect in the original box/packaging or not and why.

So please can you tell me if you keep whatever you collect (action figures, playing cards, games, comics etc.) inside the box; or keep the item sealed; or if you open it and keep the box or throw the box.

In the case of things like playing cards, comics etc.. do you keep them sealed or do you open them to look at them maybe read them if it's comics? Or just buy it and never open them without knowing what's inside.

All of this assuming that you can afford only one copy of the collectible item.
