Vivofit Pedometer does not work

Hi there, I have a Vivofit 1 and use an Android smartphone for Garmin Connect. The first day my pedomeder worked, but then it stopped counting my steps. A few days ago I resetet the device and for one night it counted my steps again. After 0:00 the counter went back to 0 and stopped working. Connection to my phone is stable. When I change my daily step goal from 10.000 to 10.001 the new step goal is visible on my Vivofit, therefore the communication works.

But what is the problem with my pedometer. Since I do not use it with any social media and I want to give away as less data as possible, maybe I did not allow a certain privilige in order to make it. But which one?

Or is it another problem?
