Finding our way in Mexico City!

Last Saturday we attended our 2nd hotel party in Mexico City. It was a blast!

First, let me start off by reminding folks that Mexico City is massive: more than 20 million people in the metropolitan area. Due to its size, everything here is intensified. Swinging is no exception. I don't how many clubs there are -- between six and twelve, depending on how you count them. We've been to a couple of the clubs with mixed results. It helps if you know some people and show up as a group. Otherwise, people here tend to be a little reserved.

With this in mind, we posted a meet and greet at a local champagne bar on SDC. Not to be confused with the champagne room at a strip club, this champagne bar is an upscale, Spanish themed bar where you can get not only champagne, but also great food. Anyway -- in the weeks leading up the meet and greet, a couple reached out to us -- they were from out of town and they were hosting a small play party at a luxury hotel. It was to be on a Sunday, the day after we returned from a trip and moving into a new AirBnB. Ordinarily we would not pile so much into a weekend, but we decided it was a good opportunity to meet people.

So glad we went! First off, the host couple are very cool. They travel all over the world for work and they've swung pretty much everywhere. Hosting these little gatherings is their thing! Hats off to them for putting on a great little event. We felt very much at home with them.

We also met several local couples while we were having drinks in the lobby bar. One couple in particular clued us in to the fact that much of the swinging in Mexico City does not happen at the clubs, but rather at house parties. Not too much of a surprise there since the clubs are so sedate. Our intent had been to get plugged into more of this scene -- so it looks like we were with the right people!

More couples arrived -- four if I recall -- then, we headed to the suite. More drinks, snacks, and conversation followed. Then my wife took the lead and off she went with the host husband into the bedroom. The rest of the people were getting friendly to a greater or lesser extent. I was soon back with the host wife, followed by pretty much everyone else. We all played on and around the king bed and other furniture. Lots of switching off. It was very hot! The cool thing about stating up front that you're hosting a full swap party is that everyone shows up ready to play. It seriously makes things a lot easier.

After round one, we sat around and had another drink -- everyone was much more relaxed by then. Another couple reaffrimed what the first couple said about most people playing at house parties. They promised to include us in future plans. Excelent!

Being a work night, we left around 10 PM. (Before Round 2 unfortunately!) The first local couple added us to swingliving.com which is a popular website here in Mexico City. Yet another website?? and the second couple recommended us to a WhatsApp swinger group. WhatsApp is like kik -- its pretty much unknown in the US but huge in Latin America. I started chatting with some of the people in the group -- unfortunately, my Spanish is not up really as good as it should be and a lot of the idioms and double-entendres are over my head. I try to keep up and I certainly know enough to say hi, make plans, etc.

Our Wednesday meet and greet rolled around where we met a two of the admins of the WhatsApp group -- a single guy and a lady who who has an SO who couldn't attend. We had a very nice time getting to know them, hearing their stories and sharing ours. Great people! Very nice looking as well. We were so glad to have met them.

After an aborted attempt to host a house party on a week ago, the WhatsApp group finally arrange to host a party at a hotel. Now, this hotel, of which I understand there are many in the city, rents room in six hour blocks. The rooms are clean, have a king size bed and, get this, sex furniture! 340 pesos ($17) for six hours or 800 pesos ($40) for the whole night. The instructions were to get a room, then go to the room where the party was being held. Sure enough, after checking in, we met in the party room.

Another amazing night! I'm not sure how many people were there. Call it six couples, three single guys, and one single lady. It was tight quarters but big city dwellers know how to make do. Ages ranging from late 20s to, well, us! Average age was maybe 35?

It took a little while, but the host really knew how to get things going. The guy has an absolute gift for hosting. No games -- he just basically started telling people to strip. Yup -- that's it. Then, since her Spanish is limited, my wife asked me to ask the group if any of the women who wanted to make out with her. She's so fucking brave! One of the lady admins quickly volunteered. They went at it for quite a while -- after which it seemed everyone was ready for more. The host then took my wife by the hand to each woman in the place for kisses. By the time that was done, people were starting to play.

As far as play is concerned -- this was not orginally conceived as a "full swap" party like the last one. That said, the king size bed was busy the whole night. Lots of girl-girl. I don't think I've seen my wife play with so many women -- I was in heaven. There was also a lot of full swap going one. I played with three lovely ladies. It was an amazing experience -- although it did run late, as things do in Mexico City. We got home at 5am after a quick stop for late-night tacos. We were smiling and completely spent.

The group admins and the party host did an amazing job pulling the party together. This group gets along very well, there was zero drama, and I think everyone got what they wanted from the experience. Amazingly, this was the first group activity for about half the folks there. Could have fooled us! We were glad to have included and look forward to more. I can't say enough about how sexy the women are here, I will let my wife speak for the men -- but I think she's been very happy so far.

Overall -- my wife and I were a little worried that we would find our swinger feet here in Mexico City. The clubs were not working for us -- our intention had been to keep going and to slowly establish connections. Hosting the meet and greet was the catalyst. Now, I can honestly say now that we feel very included. We look forward to what the future holds and to host our own events once we're in our premanent digs.
