Calling all Denver area Chevy enthusiasts! Please help me help a dying man!

My best friend's father in law has had Congestive Heart Failure for several years. He went home this week on hospice care and has been given no more than 6 months to live, but realistically he probably only has a few weeks.

One of the things he's identified wanting to do "one last time" is go for one more ride in a 57 Chevy. My friend and her husband are currently seeking out companies in the Denver area to rent one, but they are on a very limited budget. Therefore, I would like to help them out by finding another way for them to give this very sweet man one of his last wishes.

I have already reached out to a Denver area car club but the person I spoke to said it would be at least until the end of the week before he would have an answer about whether anyone would be willing/able to help. I am concerned this won't be soon enough since no one really knows how long he has left. I have seen Reddit move mountains in a matter of hours, so thought I'd try here too.

My friend's dad is on oxygen and has a portable tank but otherwise is mobile. He would probably need some help getting in and out of the car, but I'm sure my friends would assist with that. I'm sure he would want to take his wife of 55 years along too, so it would be important that there be room for both of them. They live in the Arvada area.

Are there any 57 owners in the Denver area who would be willing to help us out? I am willing to cover expenses (gas/mileage) if requested. Please PM me if interested.

PS: I didn't see anything in the sidebar prohibiting this kind of post, but if I missed it and this is not allowed, please forgive!
