Gravity falls cartoon problems

I'm not quite sure how to phrase this but my one big problem with gravity falls are the weird cartoon laws and physics sometimes occurring in the show. For example, Gideon taking over the shack because he stole the papers for the shack from Stan. How on earth could he get away with this? I mean seriously, I know cartoons are most of the times simpler than reality but that's just to stupid. Stan literally tells the people of gravity falls that Gideon stole the papers from him but they are fine with Gideons :"but you gave it to me, as you can see because I've got the papers here" bullshit? Yes the cops are incompetent idiots but all of gravity falls citizens? Or because Gideon got the shack, he also got Mabels pig. The pig doesn't belong in any way to the shack and yet he gets it? Another annoyance is the fact that sometimes the characters act like will. E.Coyote, surviving enormous falls without so much as a scratch or seemingly just nullifying the laws of physics.
