Is an accountant worth it for quarterly taxes?
I posted here a few weeks ago about quarterly taxes and I’ve since done a lot of research and am wondering what the advantage is to hiring a CPA to do this versus doing it myself? I’ve received a quote for $480 for a CPA to do all quarterly taxes for the entire year ( $195 base + 60/per quarter). It seems like a lot to me, but maybe that’s just because I’m just starting out with my small business. Since it’s estimated taxes based on my past income/current small business earnings, are there any tax breaks or anything that would even be applicable for this?
