Adapt Sound - does anyone else hear just one beep and then silence?

I've had this issue basically since getting the phone. When doing the personalized sound, about 1 in 4 of the tones beeps once and then goes silent. For some of the higher and lower pitches, one beep isn't enough to "find" the sound. Anyone else have a similar issue?

I can't find much else online, save for one post on the Samsung support page that didn't get any response.
