College of Fate [Bard Subclass]

Subclass

COLLEGE OF FATE Bards of the College of Fate have only one skill, their luck. Their magic comes not necessarily from their songs, but instead from their favour of the fates shining upon them and their allies. These bards tend to gather in casinos to test their metal against other bards of their ideology. The stories in their tellings or songs tend to lean more towards the chance of a battle or event, as opposed to the skill of the participators.

OPENING GAMBIT When you join the College of Fate at 3rd level, your proficiency is doubled for the first round of combat. This applies from the beginning of the first round to the end of your first turn.

LUCKSTER’S DEFENSE Also at 3rd level, your charisma may be added to your AC. Every time an attack misses by 1, roll 1d4. You get one of the following coins depending on what you roll.

1=Copper Coin

2=Silver Coin

3=Gold Coin

4=Platinum Coin

LADY LUCK’S BLESSING At 6th level, you can use a Bardic Inspiration and your reaction die to reroll any skill check, saving throw, or attack roll, regardless of who made it. This can be decided after the die is rolled but before the effect takes place.

WEAL MANIPULATION At 14th level, you can see the effect your luck has on the world, and can change the odds in your favour. When you roll for a percentile (d100) chance you may know the percentile chances anytime after obtaining this skill, but only when you or your ally rolls the percentile die. You also may add or subtract as much or as little of your charisma modifier as you see fit. Modification may be used once per day.
