Mirrorless or Dslr

I've made the commun mistake for a starting photography of selling my Canon T3i gear, thinking id purchase "better gear" once I get back into photography...

And here I am back slowly trying to get back into photography as a hobby. I'm simply stuck between should I look into a mirrorless camera such as Fujifilm X-A5 or should I consider a DSLR again.

My budget is within the 600-700$ range and I'm into Potraits, landscape, and Nature
