tight top pocket coil with latex topper

I am in Canada, so our selection is a bit limited. I am not looking for a cheap bed or to save money and will spend up to $4000. After reading all the pros and cons of all of the different types of mattresses I am thinking that a hybrid pocket coil with a latex top makes the most sense, something like the Charles P Rogers which while available in Canada is too much of a pain to ship to Canada, would be the best. I am a side and back sleeper with pain in my upper right trapezoid and right forearm and neck. I am 5 foot 9 and I am 105 pounds. I cannot seem to get that combination in Canada so I am thinking about combining a well made tight top available in Canada, which is a firm bed and a pocket coil, with a latex topper. Or it is always a bad idea and compromise to buy a new bed with the thought of adding a topper? I am not overly concerned with Green but I am concerned with a good nights sleep. I am currently on a pocket coil.

Any thoughts?
