Alternatives to Mazda 3?

I'm looking to get a car under 10k that's just like a Mazda 3, reliable, cost efficient, has good mpg, fun to drive and manual. The most important traits i'm looking for are reliability and manual transmission. I've been looking for a Mazda 3 for a couple months but no good deals have shown up on Craigslist. What other cars should I look at? I'm considering buying a Honda Civic Si but I can't find any over 2010 that's under 10k.
