African Grey won’t eat her kibbles!
I have an African Grey who has been happily eating her pellet food since she was weened. She’s three and a half now.
I’ve been feeding her some people food throughout her life to give her a wider ranged diet. However, I’ve noticed she stopped eating her pellets. I stopped giving her people food this morning when I realized her water dish was so clean, when it is usually filled with pellets from her dipping them like Oreo cookies in her water. I gave her fresh pellets incase the ones she had were stale or something. I assume she’s hungry because her crop looks empty, and she’s been louder today (she usually is before eating). She’s been more loud when I’m eating (and not sharing). She doesn’t seem sick at all. No off behaviour, no notable changes. Continuing regular activities.
I’m not sure if I should wait and hope she gets interested in her pets again, or if I should try a new band of food.
