Doki Doki The New Literature Club

As the title suggests, I’m currently co-developing a mod/sequel to DDLC named Doki Doki: The New Literature Club. The mod is about the after effects of the true ending, when the MC leaves the Literature Club, to join the anime club, but returned after two months. In that time, he loses touch with Sayori and the others, and on return, he finds out that there are four others in the club,

Asahi, the cool, collected boyfriend of Natsuki, who has a winning smile and golden charm.

Buronsai, and Kai, the two boys who are similar enough to be confused with each other, but different enough to get buthurt if you mix up their names. The two are constantly at each other’s throats, trying to impress Sayori.

and Duokasio, the quiet, thoughtful boy who makes every word count. His introversion keeps him from making many friends, similar to Yuri.

And with Monika in your computer’s recycle bin, maybe this run will go better..?

Saying that, on board our team is TheFunkMaestro, a scripter, MonikaTheModder, a novice artist, TBTNGamer and mpbagot, some skilled programmers, and of course, me, AstraNova, I’m another programmer. As you can see, three is definitely a shortage of people. So, we require the following:

Additional Sprite Artists (As Many As Possible) Additional CG Artists (As Many As Possible) Menu Designer (One) And Some Helpers for General Stuff.

We are going extremely in-depth with this mod, it will have several endings, several routes, several acts, FOUR NEW MALE CHARACTERS who have their own unique personalities and looks. This is the most ambitious mod on r/DDLC, it’s going to be the same length, if not longer than Doki Doki Literature Club, and might even have some twists as well. If this goes well, who knows, maybe we’ll make another.
