CKGS is so damn confusing

Non-Political

I am a US citizen with origin from India and thus am required to submit renunciation of Indian passport before obtaining visa. However on CKGS it is stated that I may do both at same time.

As far as I can tell I have only filled out the visa application and have gotten an appointment for a walk in drop off. Too bad one of the checklist checks requires a renunciation certificate. So I am stuck having to fill out renunciation application before being able to submit visa application?

Also all these damn questions are incredibly useless and dumb. What does it matter where my parents were born from or if we don't even know, there is no option for that. As well as having a reference in India which what if we didn't have? shit out of luck I guess.

any help would be greatly appreciated
