Anyone have any suggestions for securing/tieing a fabric bracelet?

I make a bracelet by following this tutorial

But would need a different way to secure it on the wrist than the one mentioned in the tutorial, because I would need it to fit variable wrists.

I was able to google other methods for bracelets, but they're not best for fabric bracelets because they require a ton of length to do, like a sliding knot.

The classic double over/under isn't a very good aesthetic finish to the look.

Anyone whose a expert in knots can help me out?
