Questions about dyed T90 Armor

So recently i've thought about investing into Tectonic because i love the way it looks and how good it is. The one thing i dislike about it is the fact that it breaks down to nothing and can't be repaired. I have recently found out that putting a dye on it makes it able to be repaired with tectonic energy on an armor stand. I am curious about a few things. First being, when it is repaired is it repaired back to a sellable state, or just 100% (after obvious removal of dye). My next questions is, when it is dyed does it just make it have the ability to be repaired and still break to nothing if hitting 0, or if it hits 0 will it just stay broken in my inventory instead of disappearing? Does it have any sort of requirements to repair the gear aside from using an armor stand, and how many tectonic energies does it take to repair the gear from 0% (if possible). Any other good things to know about it that i may not be thinking of, feel free to add. Thanks!
