First time Toyota owner looking to purchase a 2005 Highlander from family member. Anything I should know?

I've mostly been a Ford/GM guy and have the opportunity to pick up this 2005 Highlander V6, 4wd, 152k all highway miles, from relatives. The asking price is $8000 and I'm less concerned about that than I am about my lack of knowledge of Toyota products in general.

Is there anything to be concerned about here with the amount of miles? The vehicle is in great condition and has been maintained perfectly. It is coming from an area that doesn't use salt for roads either. Are there any surprises that I'll find down the road with this vehicle? I'm leaning towards going with it but would love to hear feedback about this model if you have insight.
