Epoch 650 crashing when creating DAC

I'm currently enrolled in a NDT program, we have the Epoch 650's and we're experiencing crashing when trying to create DACs, the machines will either hard lock and loose current work, OR totally drop all DB.

Is this a known thing? Has anyone had this issue and troubleshot it?
