Older players, what format do you play the most and why?
I started in 2015, been playing (and posting here lol) a lot since, but the last rotation really hit me. I'm having a hard time playing Standard, which is, for me, a really inconsistent format now. The loss of Battle Compressor and VS Seeker, with other items, made this format either too slow or to restricted on deck building.
Tapu Lele was, of course, a great new card for this format, and the slower pace and new GX mechanic made evolution based decks viable, which is good, actually. I was tired of all basics going for 1hKOs each turn, but I really think that VS Seeker is a great card that could give space for less played Supporters like Kukui.
If I'm not trading up, I'm playing Expanded, where Seismitoad, Night March, Zoroark-GX, Tool Drop, Darkrai and a lot of other decks can play in a faster enviroment, or with different approaches to the game.
I guess it's a matter of taste, but what's your thoughts?
