PSA: Faster and More Responsive Controller

TL;DR: It's a bit hard to explain what to do in text, so here's a direct link to Rocket Science's video on how to setup Steam settings.

Once you start hitting the higher ranks in rocket league, you'll start to notice that some people seem to be able to turn on a dime while you are stuck as a limo with concrete tires. There are a few possible causes for this, one being that you're not using powerslide effectively, but it could also be due to your controller settings!

In order to see a visual explanation of what's going on, watch the entire Rocket Science video linked above, or play with Halfway Dead's deadzone visualizer. Essentially, the problem is that controllers default to a circular input detection, leading to an entire portion of movement unavailable to you when moving the analog stick on a diagonal. Your controller will probably feel fairly sensitive after making this change, but stick with it for a while and I promise you'll love how quickly you're able to maneuver.

After playing with this change for a few weeks, I accidentally nuked my settings and played a game or two without the fix. It really did make a huge difference in my ability to play at a high level, particularly when it came to things like half-flips.
