MBP 15 too big, MBP 13 too expensive?

Started out buying a MBP 13 with 16 GB of RAM and a mid tier processor for 2200€. I really liked the form factor but looking at apples offerings I saw that only 300€ more would get me the entry level MBP 15 and 800€ more would get me the top tier MBP 15. So since it hadn't been two weeks I upgraded.

Now I have the 15 inch and i love it, also love the 512 gb ssd since I can boot camp windows without crippling my harddrive but it does feel a tad too big. I know I don't exactly need the extra power, I'm a software developer by trade, and the most demanding development I do is iOS stuff but the 15 is so much more bang for your buck.

Any thoughts? Did I make the right choice by upgrading?
