Examining around my surroundings I still can't comprehend what I am seeing. The environment a lush green forest surround in me with the smells and sounds of nature. In front of me a clear stream, the cold water rolling past slowly to a small pool of water.

This wasn't here a short time ago I think to myself. It wasn't moments earlier I was in the library looking for research on a project I was writing about. I came across this odd looking book on the shelf, worn leather bindings holding the tattered pages in place. My curiosity got the best of me as I thumbed through it. I saw images of this forest, of creatures frolicking here when all of a sudden things went black.

Waking moments later I found myself here. Moving to the stream I bend down to scoop some water in my hand. The cool water refreshes me as I drink. I hear a noice coming down by the pool area and I walk to it curious to see what is there.

I come to the pool and need to shake my head and wipe my eyes to try to understand what I see. In the pool is a smaller sized woman bathing, yet she appears to not be fully human at all. I look for a place to hide myself as not to scare her off, but I remain curious as to what I am seeing.

What is she, and where am I? What will happen to me here? The thoughts crowd my mind as I look at the figure in front of me.
