Master Assassins is a Master Piece

I’ve read lots of books I love but only 3 books in the last few years have been so good they slapped me in the face with their brilliance. They are The Traitor Baru Cormorant and The Fifth Season and now Master Assassins. And Master Assassins might be the best of the three.

I know Mark Lawrence has talked this book up here but it’s amazing to me how this book has received zero hype. This is one of the most accomplished novels I’ve ever read. The writing, the world building, the characters, it’s all masterful.

Read this book.
