I have Asperger’s yet I’m very clingy

It was my 1st relationship of my life and 2 weeks in and it’s all ready over. The split was caused by her feeing smothered. I am a very very clingy person and I desire when the people I’m close with are near me quite often. From this sub I hear many people with ASD have the exact opposite of clinginess. But I don’t. I often miss people and want them to be near me. I’m very confused with myself at this point
