Increased med dosage, happy with results

For years, I was on some of the lowest doses of ADHD meds. I took Concerta (18 mg) for a while, which did make a positive impact on my life, but I also did experience some anxiety due to it, especially when I had caffeine in conjunction with it. At one point, my psychiatrist suggested a raising of my dosage to 27 mg. This resulted in a huge increase in anxiety, so we very quickly lowered my dosage back to 18 mg. I eventually switched over to Adderall (10 mg) and experienced much less anxiety, but also didn't find it as effective in treating my ADHD. Last week, my psychiatrist and I raised my dosage to 15 mg, and it seems to have made a significant and positive difference. Very happy with this change.

Tl;dr Finding the right meds that work for you may really suck, but might be worth the process. Thought I'd like to share a personal experience.
