Anyone Have Mortgage Experience with Northpointe Bank?

As the title suggests, I am shopping for a mortgage and had originally planned on going through a brick-and-mortar style large bank. The rates returned were higher than expected, particularly given I have a credit score of 800 and able to put 20% down.

So I went to Bankrate.com and shopped a bit and not-surprisingly saw a host of other lenders with much lower rates. I randomly selected Northpointe Bank and their initial quote was quite impressive in terms of the delta between my other quote. That said, none of the lenders listed on Bankrate were really institutions I had any familiarity with, so curious if anyone had any experience with Northpointe (in particular) or just a general online lender that is similar to them.
