Neo Geo games not working on HDMI

So somehow my neo geo games work fine on composite but not on hdmi, and I also found out I have the same problem with MVSC . Does anyone know whats this about?

EDIT: Silly me apparently had changed the resolution and didnt notice until u/ErantyInt mentioned to check the render resolution. Thanks for the help guys!♥♥
