Texture paints

So after a long time of trying to base my orks with sheets of cork and not much success due to them already being on small bases using an unholy amount of superglue I discovered mostly by chance that texture paints are a thing apparently. Does anyone have experience using these or use them for their orks and if so which ones do you use?
