Email hosting reseller?

Can anyone recommend an email service that offers free email (with upgrade plans) that can be used in a reseller type setting? eg setup customers on their service via API and allow the customer to upgrade to another plan if they want? Zoho seems to have something sort of like this but would love to hear about other options.
