New ThinkPad Owner

Hey :)

Just wanted to check in and post about the first ever (Personal) ThinkPad I've just bought! I decided to pick up an X230 after getting a new job which provided me with a company issued T460, after using it for the past few months I knew I needed to get a ThinkPad for home use too! (That keyboard is amazing!).

I ended up with an X240 which is in like new condition and comes with the following:

Backlit Keyboard

IPS Display

i7 4600u CPU

8GB RAM

240GB SSD

It also came with a ThinkPad Basic dock also.

I've gone and bought a WWAN module to stick in it too as I have the SIM slot but no module, I've got a new SIM only contract for the SIM I'll be using in it.

I will be looking to potentially swap out the touchpad also and maybe swap out the display for a 1080p model.

I paid £250 in case anyone is wondering :)
