Recommend Software for Advanced Scan and Sort Operations

Open | Software

Pretty much as the title states, I hate having to scan documents, then either split the .PDF or images created afterwards, OR merge them if they are part of a single document, so on and so forth!

Example of what I would like: I have an ADF on my printer, I have an interview I have just completed, the documents consist of a resume, soft skills set, intro technical questions, then face to face technical and soft skills sections, I pop them all into the ADF, my DESIRED result is that when I open the software and hit scan, its scans all the sheets, then brings up all scanned items in a list, then I can chose which scans go into which document, IE page 1-3 scanned are the resume, 4-7 is soft skills, so on and so forth, and once I hit confirm, it then saves each of those sets of scans in the separate .PDF's I have designated.

I tried google and searching here on reddit, maybe the software I want exists, maybe it doesn't, maybe I am being shit at the wording used in my searching, who knows, thoughts are appreciated

*I should note that only a few of my interview packets have the same number of pages for each so setting a default isn't going to work, literally need a scan, group and save multiple option
