How my parents idiocy made me lose tens of thousands of dollars.

So what you need to know is that I am still young enough to be living under my parent's roof up in New York (but old enough to make my own decisions). So a while back when bitcoin was only about 200 a piece, I asked my parents if I could invest because I knew I could make a profit with bitcoin. Because they are not tech savy people at all I of course had to do the usual bit of explaining what bitcoin is (I'm sure you all have had to go through something like this also). After a while they said they finally understood it and said I could invest, but only if I used my own money. Now I didn't have an allowance, and I wouldn't get paid to do any chores, so I made a tinny business. I started making bracelets to sell at my school. In total I made about $500. I was so proud of myself I couldn't wait to invest in bitcoin and multiply my money. Except there was one problem, they changed their mind and said no investing, that I need to save all my money to buy a house in the future and they said I would end up losing all my money. I was obviously upset, so I asked if I could even buy an xBox, or something with my money I worked so hard to make all by myself, and they said no. All I wanted was some video games so I could play with my friends at school, but no, I'm not allowed to be a normal child. So basically I wasted so much of my time making this money that to this day, I am still not allowed to spend, it sits locked away in my parents safe, that I don't know the combination to. So I'm waiting until I finally get to leave my parents house and go to college, so I can finally buy a video game and maybe some bitcoin. (Sorry I know this was just a rant but it annoys my so much and I just wanted to type it all out.)
