I'm incredibly new to all of this, and having trouble with bringing a model from Blender into SFM. What am I doing wrong?

Help

So I created a very basic model in Blender. It's literally just a cube with a texture on it. Nothing more than that.

I'm following this page in order to bring the file over from Blender. I got it working at one point, but my textures were messed up. I understood why, but decided it would be easier for me to just start from scratch in order to fix it. Now I can't get it working at all, and I keep getting stuck at the same spot (in Crowbar).

I'm following all of the steps, except for the steps about texturing the model by unwrapping it or whatever. My model isn't too complicated, so I don't think I have to do that. I didn't do it the first time around and it worked fine. Sure, the texture was messed up, but at this point the problem doesn't have to do with the textures.

When I get to Crowbar and try to compile the "qc" file, I get this:

Compiling with Crowbar 0.56: "C:\Users\username\Desktop\blendersfm\CanMan.qc" ...

  Compiling ".\CanMan.qc" ...
Output from compiler "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\bin\studiomdl.exe":

      gamedir: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\usermod\"
      g_path: "CanMan.qc"

      Working on "CanMan.qc"

Crowbar: Deleted empty temporary compile folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\usermod\models\username"
... Compiling ".\CanMan.qc" finished. Check above for any errors.

... Compiling with Crowbar 0.56: "C:\Users\username\Desktop\blendersfm\CanMan.qc" finished.

Just to clarify, I substituted my name with "username" for privacy reasons and called my model "CanMan" to make it easier to follow along with the instructions on the page I linked.

I see that the error is with the 'Arm.L.smd' file, but I'm not sure what exactly is wrong with it. I put just one bone on the model, since, as far as I know, I need to have at least one bone on a model (please correct me if I'm wrong). The bone is named "Arm.L" in Blender, and it created the smd file when I exported it, so I'm not entirely sure where I'm going wrong here.

In the qc file, I have:

$body head "Arm.L.smd"

Am I not supposed to call it "Arm.L"? I originally called it "Cube", and it worked the first time around. When I called it Cube again, it didn't work. So I retried it with the name "Arm.L" and it still doesn't work.

I'm sure it's something incredibly obvious that I'm messing up, but like I said I'm completely new at this. I just needed to bring a model over for a 3 second clip I need for a video :P

If anybody knows what I'm doing wrong, I would appreciate the help. If there's anywhere else I should be posting this, I'll gladly post it there as well.

Also, if I need to provide any more information that might be helpful, just let me know. Thanks.
